PortAventura Convention Centre hosts SEAT’s training days for the second time, reaching a record number of participants. The brand organised training aimed at the dealership network from more than 50 countries, ready for the launch of the new Ibiza.
A total of 5700 sales and after-sales consultants from more than 50 countries have taken part in training days at the PortAventura Convention Centre. This figure represents a record number of participants in a conference designed specifically for the international commercial network to mark the launch of the new SEAT Ibiza.
During the event, training activities and workshops were held in the different rooms of the PortAventura Convention Centre, where participants had a deep immersion of 24 hours in the “Ibiza universe” under the tagline #startmoving.
The attendees, who participated in the event in groups of 300 people, stayed at Hotel PortAventura, located just 100 metres from the convention centre, and enjoyed an evening with a decidedly Mediterranean flavour at the exclusive Lumine Beach Club, overlooking the sea.
The entire Convention Centre was arranged into areas for work groups, exhibition of the new vehicle, comparative sessions with competing models, as well as relaxation and discussion zones, where the SEAT brand and its new IBIZA were the protagonists.
In addition, the large terraces surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation were used for coffee breaks with virtual reality games available for attendees to try out during the breaks.
Various exterior spaces have made it easier to accommodate the number of vehicles needed for the scenic drive (up to 90 cars), with sufficient room for car maintenance and cleaning zones.
Some interesting facts about the event:
Christina Nerlich, Brand Experience manager, said “We chose the PortAventura facilities due to their excellent connections with both Barcelona Airport and Reus Airport, among other reasons. The convenience of having all the services that we needed in the same complex is also a positive factor.”
Laura Valdeolivas, Director of PortAventura Business & Events, commented “It has been a very rewarding experience for us to work with the SEAT team again in a training event of such magnitude. Customer loyalty is one of our main objectives”.
The Minister of Agriculture opened the most important congress on poultry nutrition in the world at PortAventura Convention Centre, with more than 1700 experts

The Minister encouraged all participants at the congress to “work together to deepen and further these and many other topics, with the objective of building safe, healthy, efficient and sustainable agro-feeding systems”.
More than 1700 attendees: the highest attendance so far from all previous editions and overcoming the organisers’ expectations.
The congress that occupied the entire convention centre at PortAventura World brought together delegates, nutritionists, professors, scientists and businesses from more than 60 countries, of which more than 50% were outside the European Union. Over the 4-day period, six conference sessions were prepared for groups to discuss the most significant topics on poultry nutrition. The main room of the convention centre hosted more than 1700 attendees, as well as putting up some 30 stands where various publications of the sector were exhibited, a large poster room where studies were presented displaying scientific data and 2 large rooms with a total of 20 separate spaces for the debate groups.
During the first night of the event, the congress attendees enjoyed the opening of an exclusive area in PortAventura World where welcome cocktails were served, as well as popular dances and habaneras songs by the Mediterrània lake. Over the three days of the congress, attendees stayed in 3 out of the 5 PortAventura World hotels.
This time, the Research and Technology for Food and Agriculture Institute of the Generalitat de Catalunya (IRTA) organised the 21st European Symposium on Poultry Nutrition in conjunction with the Centre Europeu de Convencions (European Convention Centre) – an event that has been held every two years in different cities since 1977 with the help of The World’s Poultry Science Association. The event received support from 32 sponsor companies and the collaboration of the Salou and Vila-seca local councils.

Ferrari Experience also plays host to the Ferrari Gallery, an impressive space where visitors can enjoy an interactive experience and learn details of the history of the legendary
Crowning the skyline of the park is Red Force, the highest and fastest vertical accelerator in Europe. This ride offers a unique experience for thrill seekers and Formula 1 fans, with an acceleration of 0 to 112 mph in 5 seconds, and a height of 112 metres (367 feet). Undoubtedly, Red Force is the park’s main attraction, with its sleek structure visible from several miles away.
Eight semi-professional simulators make up Pole Position Challenge where visitors can put their driving skills to the test. Similar to the simulators used by Formula 1 drivers for training, this ride is a must for motor sports fans.
Other rides include the Maranello Grand Race racetrack, an unforgettable race in Italian GT race cars, along a track of over 500 metres (1,640 feet). This family-friendly attraction recreates the excitement of driving a legendary Ferrari 488 Spider. Next to these is an attraction aimed at younger visitors. Junior Championship offers children the chance to experience the thrill of skidding along Formula 1’s traditional “whip” in a small-scale replica of the real vehicles.
One of Formula 1’s most emblematic moments is the iconic pit stop. At Ferrari Land, the ride Pit Stop Record allows two teams to compete to change four wheels on a full-size Formula 1 car as quickly as possible. Kids’ Podium offers a play centre where the park’s youngest visitors can enjoy the most authentic motorsport adventures.
The perfect place to enjoy a complete family experience
The new park will offer five restaurants that immerse visitors in an authentic Italian environment, where they can enjoy the delicious dishes of the country’s famous cuisine.
