PortAventura Business & Events once again amazed the sector with an unexpected and immersive proposal: “Memories of the Past, Screams of the Past”, an experience that transported attendees into the legend of the enigmatic god TON WAN, a story that blended past, technology and emotion.

From the moment they arrived, guests were immersed in a narrative set in the 1990s, where Clara, a girl who mysteriously disappeared in PortAventura Park after playing on a cursed arcade machine, returned asking for help to break the curse that kept her trapped.

PortAventura Convention Centre, the stage of the legend

The day began in the Harvard room, where attendees explored 30 years of PortAventura’s history and discovered the innovations shaping the future of the resort. They later joined a guided tour through PortAventura Convention Centre, exploring its 24 meeting rooms and over 20,000 m² of versatile spaces.

For this event, the walls of the Roma room came to life: immersive projections, visual effects and appearances from ravens, the god TON WAN and Clara transformed the space into a true sensory spectacle. Thanks to the work of the in-house Booster AV team, the room became a fully immersive environment where the myth awakened before everyone’s eyes.

From intrigue to challenge: team building in PortAventura Park

After the visit, participants enjoyed an outdoor cocktail on the Convention Centre terraces before heading to PortAventura Park to take part in a team-building activity designed by partner Gold Events & Sports.

Divided into teams, they explored the park solving clues and hidden puzzles among the attractions, with the goal of freeing Clara and breaking the curse of TON WAN. A collaborative experience that blended adrenaline, creativity and team spirit.

When night falls… the curse awakens

At nightfall, the story reached its climax. Attendees transformed into 80s and 90s zombies thanks to the makeup team, joining a music band that guided them to the exclusive opening of the Far West area.

There, under a sky tinted with red lights and raven silhouettes, a gala dinner themed around the universe of TON WAN took place, ending with a musical bingo full of energy, humour and surprise.

A second day dedicated to social impact

The following day was dedicated to the PortAventura Foundation, where participants learned about the social projects the resort promotes to support vulnerable individuals and families. An inspiring conclusion that showcased the importance of combining creativity with social responsibility.

A Halloween to remember

Two days of connection, creativity and inspiration that once again demonstrated PortAventura Business & Events’ ability to transform every story into a truly unique experience.

“This event has been a great success thanks to outstanding storytelling and the commitment of all participants. I want to thank the PortAventura Business & Events team for making it possible, and all attendees for being part of a MICE sector that continues to grow. It has been a true pleasure to share this experience with all of you.”
Malin Nilsson, Director of PortAventura Business & Events and PortAventura Convention Centre
