The dinner, scheduled to take place on 8 October at the PortAventura Convention Centre, has become one of the most important charity events in Tarragona, which this year will be attended by over 1,000 people.

On Thursday, 8 October, the PortAventura Foundation will hold its 5th Charity Dinner, whose proceeds will be donated to the fight against Alzheimer’s, specifically to three of the most outstanding organizations in this field: the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, the Reus i Baix Camp Alzheimer’s Foundation, and the Villablanca Foundation. In only four years, the charity dinner has become the most important of its kind in Tarragona, and each it receives tremendous civic and economic support (from institutions, chemical industry, tourist industry, etc.).

The 5th edition of the dinner will be held again at the PortAventura Convention Centre, and the organizers hope to surpass the 1,000 guest mark achieved last year. “In the last edition, we managed to raise €71,250, which were donated to Projecte Home Catalunya to help the charity in its excellent work in preventing and raising public awareness about drug addiction,” explained Ramon Marsal, president of the PortAventura Foundation. “This year, we plan to donate the proceeds to projects geared to researching into Alzheimer’s, raising public awareness about the disease and supporting patients.”
