PortAventura Business & Events organises exclusive opening of PortAventura for FC Barcelona team and their families

The Manager of the first team of FC Barcelona, Luis Enrique, surprised his squad last Friday with a family day out to PortAventura. By taking in a tour of the areas of Polynesia, China, México, Far West, Mediterrània and SésamoAventura, opened exclusively for the team’s enjoyment, the reigning champions of Champions League and their families were able to explore the largest themed resort in Spain, and a major European leisure destination, and its most spectacular attractions: Shambhala, Dragon Khan and Hurakan Condor, amongst everything else on offer. The players did not want to miss any of the star attractions and plucked up the courage to tackle PortAventura’s record-breaking roller coasters, where excitement and adrenaline-fuelled cries could be heard all around. The youngest members of the Barça family also had the opportunity to meet Woody and the friendly Sesame Street characters.

FC Barcelona was surprised with an unconventional day out devised by their manager Luis Enrique. The scarlet-and-blue boys’ trainer was responsible for organising this family leisure activity, which was very well received by the team. The coaching staff believes that days like today, having fun with loved ones at PortAventura, are a vital team training strategy.

FCBarcelona- PortAventura

“PortAventura Business & Events offers the opportunity for exclusive opening of theme park areas for companies that hold their events at our facilities, which was the case of FC Barcelona, taking advantage of the fact that the park is closed Monday to Friday during the current season. Other companies such as HP, IBM, L’Oreal and Nike have also turned to PortAventura to arrange exclusive access to the resort” reports Laura Valdeolivas, Director of PortAventura Business & Events.   “Everyone at PortAventura is proud to have hosted this special occasion and to have played its part in organising this wonderful surprise for the players and their families”.
